The head nurse of the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Lyazzat Akhmedinova and the chief specialist of the science and gerontology department, BLS/ASLS instructor Akmaral Suleimenova visited the Kazakh Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology in Almaty, where they held a training seminar for housekeepers and barmaids.

The purpose of the event was to familiarize participants with the basic concepts and methods of service management, as well as to improve their skills and abilities in order to improve the quality of patient care and systematize the work of medical institutions.

The importance of the housekeepers and barmaids activities in ensuring the quality of service in medical institutions was discussed at the training seminar. In addition, along with theoretical lectures, practical exercises were held at the event, cases were discussed and a strategy was developed on how to improve the quality of activities in practice. During the 2-day training seminar, the participants learned the basics of service in medical institutions, acquired communication skills, skills in monitoring the work and organizational process, and developing group and leadership skills. At the end of the event, the participants were awarded certificates.
