A meeting dedicated to the adaptation of newly hired employees and the development of the mentorship program was held at the Medical Center Hospital. As part of the program, Chief Mentor Saule Kissikova delivered an introductory presentation entitled “Welcome Book”, during which new employees were introduced to the institution’s organizational structure, key areas of activity, and corporate values. Between February 23 and April 30, 2026, a total of 49 healthcare professionals participated in the presentation.
During the meeting, Deputy Director for Surgery Berik Kaikenov delivered a report on compliance with the principles of medical ethics and deontology. He emphasized the importance of adhering to professional standards, maintaining a high culture of communication, and strengthening trust-based relationships between healthcare professionals and patients.
Special attention was given to employees who successfully completed their probationary period between January 5 and February 15, 2026. Second-category mentors presented the results of their work in supporting the adaptation of new staff members, highlighting the important role of mentorship in fostering corporate culture, professional responsibility, dedication to the profession, and active civic engagement.
Employees who had successfully completed their probationary period also shared their experiences of adapting to the workplace and integrating into the team. In addition, an analysis of staff turnover was presented, and issues related to the further improvement of the mentorship system were discussed. These efforts are aimed at strengthening human resources capacity and enhancing the quality of medical care.
