Representatives of the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the IV Congress of Nursing Specialists of Kazakhstan, titled “Investments in Education – Sustainable Development of Nursing”, held on May 22-23, 2026, in Turkestan.
The Medical Center Hospital was represented at the international venue by Aigul Rakhimova, Senior Nurse of the Therapeutic Service, and Markhaba Yermekbayeva, Senior Nurse of Surgical Department No. 6.
The large-scale professional forum brought together representatives of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the World Health Organization, the International Council of Nurses, leading medical universities and healthcare organizations of Kazakhstan, as well as experts from Türkiye, Denmark, and other countries. The congress became one of the country’s largest professional platforms for discussing current trends in the development of nursing, the implementation of international standards, digital technologies, and new educational approaches in the healthcare system.
As part of the Innovation, Education & Practice section dedicated to innovations, educational approaches, and practical solutions in nursing, Markhaba Yermekbayeva delivered a presentation titled: “Organization of the Work of Nursing Specialists at the Medical Center Hospital: Modern Approaches and Solutions.”
During the presentation, modern mechanisms for organizing the Hospital’s nursing service were introduced, along with practical approaches to managing nursing staff, improving the efficiency of internal processes, and strengthening the role of nurses in ensuring the quality and safety of medical care.
Special attention was given to the development of nurses’ professional competencies, the implementation of modern nursing practice standards, and the establishment of a multidisciplinary approach in the work of clinical departments.
The participation of representatives of the Medical Center Hospital in an international congress of this level highlighted the high professional potential of the institution’s nursing service, which is focused on continuous development, the implementation of modern practices, and improving the quality of medical care.
