Achievements of the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Over 10 Years

Doctors at the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Hospital), which has been providing high-level medical services for over 10 years, save lives every day using innovative technologies.

The Nuclear Medicine Center, opened in 2022, is the only facility in Kazakhstan that produces seven radiopharmaceuticals for the diagnosis of oncological diseases.

The Hospital uses the most advanced CT and MRI machines, which have no analogues in the country.

The Center for Personalized Genomic Diagnostics, which performs over 900 genetic tests, became the first in Kazakhstan to introduce a test last year that can detect Down syndrome with 99% accuracy as early as the 10th week of pregnancy.

The Hospital operates about 10 specialized centers focused on treating the most significant and in-demand diseases. These include: the Innovative Sports Medicine Center, where the country’s leading athletes receive treatment and prepare for competitions; the Autoimmune Disease Center, which specializes in treating rare pathologies; the Diabetic Foot Center, which helps more than 300 patients annually avoid leg amputation.

In 2022, at the request of patients, a new building with 213 beds was opened. This modern facility houses not only therapeutic departments but also an expanded Diagnostic Unit and a Rehabilitation Center equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Specialists at the Center for Restorative Treatment and Rehabilitation, covering an area of 7,150 square meters, perform over 220,000 procedures annually using advanced Western technologies.

As part of the "Health is Here" medical tourism program, the Hospital treats patients from the CIS countries, the USA, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, and other countries from both near and far abroad.

Doctors from this leading medical institution, which has the largest staff of qualified specialists in the country, visited 14 regions of Kazakhstan last year, where they successfully performed complex surgeries and provided consultation and diagnostic assistance to local residents.

It is worth noting that today marks 10 years since the Hospital moved to its new building, and by the end of spring, the opening of two more medical facilities is planned.
