Annual International Arrhythmologists’ Conference “Treatment of cardiac arrhythmia and cardiac electrophysiology for cardiologists” has been held at Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Approximately 35 arrhythmologists’ from Spain, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Russian and Central Asia, and 50 specialists from Kazakhstan, as well as 301 offline and 1700 online delegates took part in International Conference of European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), organized with support of Kazakhstan Arrhythmologists’ Society and Astana Medical University.
Alexey Tsoy, Head of Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Jose Merino, President of EHRA 2022-2024, Kamalzhan Nadyrov, Principal of Astana Medical University spoke at opening of international conference.
- Arrhythmology can be called a new profession, which came to being only in the 80s of the last century. This specialty combines cardiology, cardiac surgery, engineering, radiology and prevents sudden death from heart diseases. Very often, when we perform the surgery, we go through the vein and perform surgery inside the heart. To prevent death from unexpected heart disease, we perform various surgeries, study heart rhythm disorders. Tomorrow we shall sum up results of Arrhythmologists’ Society’s work and discuss actual issues. Cooperation of Kazakhstani arrhythmologists and scientists from all over the world lasts for decades”, – said Ayan Abdrakhmanov, President of Kazakhstan Arrhythmologists’ Society, Chief Arrhythmologist of Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The most important issues of arrhythmology were raised during two-day conference: screening, early diagnosing, prevention in arrhythmology; issues of treatment with antiarrhythmic drugs; development of modern arrhytmologic surgery, using complex navigation equipment, as well as organizational issues of arrhytmology service functioning, advanced methods in diagnosing and treating arrhytmia, including high-tech surgeries; using various methodologies for each type of arrhythmia, which require surgical interventions and many other aspects of arrhythmology.
Also, 6 master classes for implantation of modern electrode-free stimulators into heart and ablation of complicated heart rhythm disorders were conducted during the conference.
