About the Department
The Surgery Department No. 8 has 24 beds and is located on the 4th floor, block A3. It is equipped with modern medical equipment that enables a wide range of surgical interventions on the pelvic organs and retroperitoneal space using modern minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robot-assisted) technologies.
All types of ectopic pregnancy, acute inflammatory and purulent diseases of the uterus and appendages, various types of infertility, intrauterine pathology (polyps, hyperplasia, synechiae, septum), stress urinary incontinence, prolapse of the female genital organs, endometriosis of the uterus, appendages and pelvic peritoneum, benign neoplasms of the uterus (fibroids and myomas of various localizations) and appendages (all types of cysts and cystomas), as well as congenital malformations of the female genital organs are treated on a planned and emergency basis within the field of gynecology. Operations are performed using traditional, laparoscopic and robot-assisted approaches.

- Office hysteroscopy and operative hysteroresectoscopy;
- Laparoscopic reconstructive and plastic surgery for tubal-peritoneal infertility;
- Subtotal hysterectomy (via laparotomy and laparoscopy);
- Total hysterectomy (via laparotomy, laparoscopy and the vaginal approach);
- Conservative myomectomy (via laparotomy and laparoscopy);
- Vaginal surgeries using mesh endoprostheses;
- Sling surgeries for stress urinary incontinence;
- Laparoscopic correction of stress urinary incontinence (Burch procedure);
- Plastic surgery for longstanding vaginal tears and urogenital or rectovaginal fistulas;
- Laparoscopic operations using mesh endoprostheses (promontofixation);
- Robot-assisted surgeries (subtotal hysterectomy, total hysterectomy, myomectomy, cystectomy and adnexectomy).
