The Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan has certified its general practitioners, surgeons, and nurses in preparation for the upcoming epidemiological flu season and the organization of a mass vaccination of the population.

The primary objective of this initiative was to assess the professional readiness of the medical staff to implement preventive and anti-epidemic measures aimed at reducing the incidence of influenza.

The certification committee included:

  • B.Tolebayeva, an expert from the Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Department of the Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  • Z. Tungishbayeva, Deputy Director.
  • A. Satybayeva, Head of the Primary Health Care (PHC) Service.

The committee conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the medical staff's knowledge regarding the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of influenza, as well as their preparedness for administering vaccinations.

Following the certification, recommendations were issued to enhance the specialists’ qualifications, and priority areas were identified for strengthening preventive measures and conducting educational and awareness- raising activities during the period of increased epidemiological risk.

This certification marks a crucial step in ensuring the institution's readiness to respond effectively during the seasonal outbreak of infectious diseases.
