The working visit of doctors of Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Zhambyl region continues.

According to the results of three days 15 complex operations, 26 patient consultations, 9 lectures were conducted and attended by 152 doctors of the region. To date, Mynzhylky Berdihodzhayev, Deputy Director for Surgery, neurosurgeon of the highest category of Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, successfully performed 12 complex operations in Taraz Multiprofile Hospital and held medical consultations for 20 residents of the region.

Arsen Tusupbayev, Chief of Endoscopy Department performed 3 complex operations and gave 3 lectures on the topic: “Modern methods of research and treatment in endoscopy” with the participation of 40 doctors of the region.

Raushan Karabayeva, Deputy Director for Clinical Care of the Hospital, made a presentation to 56 colleagues from various medical institutions of the region: “Antibiotic therapy in sepsis. Antibiotic resistance”. In addition, at the request of hospital management, she gave a lecture for 16 pharmacologists of the region.

Gulshara Abildina, Chief of the Personalized Genomic Diagnostics Laboratory held a lecture for 25 specialists of the region on the topic: “Genetic studies in cancer for the selection of targeted drugs”.

Nazar Seydalin, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Chief Oncologist of the Hospital, made a presentation on “Biopsy of sentinel lymph nodes in breast cancer and melanoma” for oncologists of the region.

Aizhan Sarsenbayeva, Chief of Internal Medicine Department No.5 (therapy, rheumatology and nephrology) gave lectures for 15 colleagues in Zhambyl region on the following topics: “Chronic kidney disease - practical approach of a therapist” and “Acute kidney injury - nuances of primary differential diagnosis”. She also consulted 6 complicated patients.
